What is Is Real?

Is Real is a caller identity verification service that helps recipients confirm the identity of people calling them. Our service combats phone spoofing and AI voice cloning by providing real-time verification during phone calls.

How SMS is Used

Is Real sends SMS messages containing secure verification links. These messages are:

  • One-time: Each message contains a unique link for a single verification session
  • User-initiated: Messages are only sent when a registered, identity-verified caller explicitly requests verification for a specific phone call
  • Time-sensitive: Links expire within 10 minutes
  • Transactional: Messages are not promotional or marketing content

When You May Receive a Message

You will only receive an SMS from Is Real when:

  1. Someone is calling you (or about to call you), AND
  2. That caller is a verified Is Real user, AND
  3. The caller has explicitly requested to verify their identity to you

Example Messages

"John Smith from Chase Bank wants to verify their identity on your call. Tap to verify: https://isreal.com/v/abc123"

"Jane Doe will be calling you shortly from (555) 123-4567. Verify their identity: https://isreal.com/v/xyz789"

Opting Out

Reply STOP to any message to opt out of future verification requests. You can opt back in at any time by replying START.
